Pyrates Theme 2005-2011

This post captures all Mega Bloks Pyrates themed sets which were released in waves between 2005 and 2011. I own most of them now, allowing me to share good quantity photos of the sets, not available elsewhere on the web. If anyone wants to see additional close ups then feel free to request them. If anyone knows of any sets that I have missed then do please let me know! :)

I own sets in light green. I want sets in light salmon. Sets that were never released are crossed out. The remaining sets above are collection sets containing nothing new which I may or may not buy depending on price, condition, and mood! :)

It is very hard to find this set properly sealed since most people will remove the tape to look inside even if they aren't planning on building it. These tins also rust easily. I was very lucky to find this one in mint condition.

If you have sharp eyes then you will spot that one figure is missing it's upper body! The rest of the figure came lose but is still in the chest.

Final Comments

The Pyrates theme is one of my favourites and you can still pick up a couple of these sets sealed quite easily and cheaply on eBay to get you started. To complete your collection you will need to be very patient and have deep pockets since a good number of these sets will now cost you hundreds of pounds each.
