Week 24 Roundup

This is the start of what I hope will be a regular blog to introduce you all to my quite considerable collection of Mega Bloks/Construx sets. I plan on starting a YouTube vlog in the future but I decided to build up some content first in the form of a blog.

What have I been buying this week?



  • Mega Bloks - World Builders - Jeep - Jeep Forest Expedition
    • 2014, #97806, 344 pieces, 3 figures
    • Bought sealed from eBay for £1 plus shipping
    • I  couldn't resist the low starting price! :)
  • Mega Bloks - Skylanders - Giants - Zeppelin Air Ship Assault
    • 2013, #95415, 133 pieces, 2 figures
    • Bought sealed from eBay for £15 plus shipping
    • I have a very battered copy of this set and this looked in great condition but I was disappointed with set that I received :(
    • I'm currently rounding out my Skylanders collection
  • Mega - Pokemon - Motion Butterfree
    • 2022, #HKT22, 582 pieces, no figures
    • Bought new from Mattel.com for £60.99 with free shipping
    • This is actually a replacement since I returned previous copy I had that was missing one small piece! I tried contacting multiple support lines to get a replacement 1x2 plate. I didn't have a spare and couldn't find another cheap set with the same part! They eventually suggested I return set and they facilitated a free replacement afterwards. I've now opened replacement and it looks like this set isn't missing that piece. I will remake at some point for display purposes.

What am I building at the moment?

  • Mega - Pokemon - Pokemon Jungle Voyage
    • 2022, #HHN61, 1362 pieces, 4 figures
    • Most recently bought new from Amazon for £37.59 with free shipping! Amazon indicates RRP is £114.99!
    • I bought 3 of these for parts and decided to build one to determine how good the set is as a parts pack. However, the build is going slowing since I'm not that excited about it and once finished, I plan to dismantle it again.

Final Comments

Once I get into the swing of things, I will try to provide more varied and detailed content with images on a weekly basis. The most important thing at the moment is make blogging a habit again.
