With my focus on vintage sets, I finally found a set from 1991 when Mega Micro Bloks was first released! :D
What have I been buying this week?
- Mega Micro Bloks - (Blue Tub)
- 1991, #902, 500 pieces, no figures
- Bought used from US eBay seller for $19.99 plus shipping (£46.66 including shipping)
- This is my first set from 1991 which is why I was willing to buy it used
- I spent a few hours cleaning all the bricks and the tub and it scrubbed up nicely. The bricks were dirty but not chewed on. These tubs include a square insert inside which wasn't included so I used a cardboard tube instead.
- There are 36 pieces missing and I'm guessing that they were green pieces which the seller used for something many years ago since it's the one colour shown on the tub that isn't included
- Finding this set sealed and dated 1991 is going to be very difficult, although I do have a sealed 1992 #901 tub so maybe there are some sealed 1991 sets out there somewhere! :)

- The seals are a bit dodgy on this but since the seller also had an opened set of the same type, I was willing to believe this one was still sealed

- Bought sealed from US eBay seller for $17.94 plus shipping (£34.89 including shipping)
- This set is definitely sealed and is one of the sets included in the #999 Special Value Pack above

- Bought 3 sealed sets from Vinted seller for £18.50 including shipping
- This was a great deal and all 3 sets were completely sealed
- The Alien Agency set in particular is hard to find without rust and without the seals on the back being damaged since the outer card tends to slide left or right when tin is not carefully handled
- Mega Bloks - Just Build - Larry the Lobster
- 2004, #1646, 50 pieces, no figures
- Bought sealed from US eBay seller for $3 plus shipping (£21.84 including shipping)
- This was an impulse buy and I had to remove some stickers and clean it up. However it was a bargain before postage was added on! :)

- 2019, #GLK54, 224 pieces, 2 figures
- Bought from Vinted seller for £8 plus shipping (£12.43 including shipping!)
- Got this to part out. I was particularly interested in the metalic silver 2x4 round brick.
- Mega - Tesla - Signature Series - Cybertruck

- Bought new from Amazon seller for £42.33 including shipping!
- This was an absolute bargain for a sealed Signature Series set!
- I bought this from Mattel Creations on 8/Dec/2021 when it first came out for $250 plus $34.94 shipping, However, I still had to pay additional import changes before I could pick it up from the Post Office! :(
- It's currently still available from Mattel Creations for £245 plus £9 shipping
- Mega - Pokemon Motion - SDCC 2023 Exclusive - Magikarp
- 2023, #HNT97, 1574 pieces, no figures
- Bought 2 sets from Mattel Creations for £135 including shipping (£63 each plus £9 shipping)
- I plan on building one of these when I get a chance and find a space to display it
